"We had a great time in Kinvarra! Proximity to the Aran Islands, Cliffs of Mohr, etc. was great and we enjoyed the local pubs and music. The accommodations were great, clean and well stocked. We were a little put off by the amount of traffic and related noise, at times it was hard to even cross the street and the bedrooms that faced the road were noisy. Toni was very responsive and gave us lots of information on things to do and see. Overall we enjoyed the town and had a great time."

"Kinvara is a good location for exploring Galway and County Clare. The property is fine with plenty of space and well equipped. We even managed to use the Hot Tub which was very rewarding as the weather forecast for the week was not very very good."

"The house was very clean except for the carpets. There was a lot of room for our group. The rooms were large and adequately furnished. The kitchen utensils and cookware was a bit sparse. The rent was very reasonable, but I would rather pay a bit more and not have to “rent” towels or supply additional toilet paper or buy dish soap. "

We enjoyed our daily drives through the countryside and having a relaxing place to stay when we returned each evening. On our final day, we enjoyed touring the local area and found that there was plenty to do in or near Mountshannon. It was nice taking a break from driving. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Situated on the outskirts of Mountshannon, you do need transport, but with car in hand you will be able to visit the highlights of the region. just bare in mind local 'R' roads can be narrow with high hedges, and meeting commercial traffic might test your nerves.
