"The cottage was lovely and exceeded our expectations. There are lots of beautiful trails for hiking and running close by and you can get local produce in the area. "Absolutely stunning location. Very modern facilities in fantastic location. Everything from undercover lock up car parking to 2 bathrooms, well fitted kitchen, comfortable lounge with most beautiful vista of the mountains and village. The host was very accommodating, the apartment was well finished with all linen and mod cons. Short walk to all cafes and shops and variety of bars. Very quiet location and elevated so you enjoy the mountain views."

"We were a couple and family of 4 with children aged 8 and 16. The cottage was in a beautiful location with wonderful views. The interior and garden were very lovingly done up - it felt like a real home. The house was very well equipped. We had easy access from there to lots of lovely hikes and there was also a nice golf course nearby which we played on once. The owners were in touch regularly and very helpful."

Clean, simple and wonderfully friendly
"The hotel is classed as 2 star and I guess that's about right, but I stayed in a 4 star the day after my stay at Hotel Blu Aran and immediately wished I could go back. It's honest, clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not provide dinner but the receptionist was wonderful and offered a suggestion in town which was one of the best meals I've ever had. The view from the room was idyllic and I have already planned my return next year"
