"Excellent place to stay. We’ve never been in the area and were apprehensive since where we were site seeing wasn’t close to any big towns and was more near farmland. But when we drove up it was a lovely looking place and when we walked in, so clean and fresh! The beds and pillows were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Can’t complain about a thing at this place!"

"The property was well maintained and the staff was helpful. Not sure why they describe the Hermitage Inn “and Taphouse”. The bar and restaurant is a totally separate building and not part of the hotel. A little deceiving. But the room was very clean and well appointed. The staff at both the restaurant and and the hotel were very friendly and helpful"

"Absolutely beautiful remote spot. Bed was so comfortable, bathroom and shower were top notch, and the kitchen had all the basics we needed from kitchen scissors to pot holders. Washer and dryer worked great. Bring everything you need, and you could literally stay for days and enjoy the quiet and solace. We did a lot of exploring during the day, and returned in the evenings. Can’t say enough nice things about the location and accommodations- just wonderful!"

"Staff was helping, clean room, & lots of parking. Harness racing track behind the hotel. I ate breakfast while watching the horses practice. Nice"

"We enjoyed our stay! The unit was spacious and had what we needed (though a few more blankets/comforters would have been helpful). The unit is a bit dated but it was clean and a great deal for a 3-bedroom unit! Would stay again."
