"If you play golf, this is the place to go. Hotel restaurant is closed many nights. Bar is open limited hours. Staff is somewhat indifferent. Hotel is old and noisy. Cleaning staff push their carts across tile floors making a big racket. Door from our room to the pool was locked and the key was nowhere to be found. On the other hand, Argés which is a town just to the north has several dining options. Driving is a must. Stay here only if the price is right or other options in Toledo are sold out. "

"First room offered was unusable as under renovation full of building materials and rubble. Second room given was without any form of heating on a cold January with bedding consisting of sheet and blanket. Totally unacceptable so had to find alternative accommodation at another hotel. Having prepaid we want a full refund. "

"The welcome at reception was warm and friendly, with the manager going out of his way to make us welcome. The room was lovely, fresh clean and roomy. As we were only staying for one night, more than ample for our needs. Not much to see on a walk before dinner, narrow pavements around the town but safe enough in the area. Dinner was disappointing although it was New Years Eve and not many in. The crocheted starter was a very large portion but cold. Chose the veal but was given a tough piece of beef. Asked for medium but we both had rare meat of poor quality. Wouldn’t eat there again, but would definitely stay at the hotel again as the underground parking was idea with a full car. Shame about the food but a nice place with lovely front of house."
