"This is a beautiful luxury resort. The service was top-notch but be prepared to pay premium price for food & drinks. We did receive an Expedia bonus of free buffet breakfast for 2 every morning but we had to explicitly request that the hotel honor this because it was not originally included; otherwise, this would've cost us $90/day (not a typo) including obligatory taxes & tip! Besides the pool, gym, and 2 restaurants in the hotel area, everything else is very far away: the beach, grocery store, movie theater, marina restaurants, Altos de Chavon area. You cannot walk there, you have to take a very slow-moving golf cart which was included. Cars go around you very fast and upset at all the golf carts on the road. We did not feel safe riding the golf carts at night."

"This property is great. I stayed on the family side with my 16 year old daughter. The amenities are top notch. The staff especially Ronaldo (bellman) and Beinvenido (main buffet) were amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. 5 stars!"

Highly recommend if you’re looking for comfort, service, and a peaceful getaway in paradise."
