"Wow. Surprise stop for us, and it was amazing"

"We enjoyed our stay. The property is a bit dated but it is well maintained with spacious rooms and beautiful views. We were warned a couple of times to be extra cautious if we walked off the property. That didn't give us a lot of confidence especially after having just been robbed in Santiago. The staff at the Sheraton was great. We had two rooms, both upgraded and assigned next to each other without us having to ask. Little thoughtful perks like that are truly appreciated. We usually try to avoid Marriott properties, but this stay was lovely."

She guided us to excellent restaurants very near to us and arranged for a guided walking tour in Valparaiso also. The setting and the breakfasts were outstanding — It is a real jewel!"

"I like this property because it is within walking distance of the supermarkets. The room is very spacious, with an incredible partial ocean view. However, the restaurants could improve attentiveness to lunch and dining options when serving. The food was okay, but I hope to see some flavor enhancements. Overall, it is a great place to stay in Vina del Mar. "
