"Everything great except outside lights not on."

"Very basic as expected, however staff had stayed to check us in when we arrived very late and were extremely nice and helpful. Rooms basic but bed comfortable and clean bedding. All we wanted for an overnight stop."

"The hotel was okay for a night during long travel. Hotel staff was friendly. At the same time the facilities were very basic for this high price and airco and electricity was broken. It was definitely not worth the price!"

"La maison est très belle, bien décorée au rez-de-chaussée et bien placée vis à vis du zoo et des châteaux. Par contre, elle est située à l'angle d'une rue passante et bruyante, pas de rideaux aux fenêtres donc pas d'intimité.Pas de rangement dans les chambres ni de lampes de chevet,Un matelas très inconfortable (on sent les ressorts), on a dû demander une couette pour la placer au dessus et améliorer le couchage.Equipements de la cuisine réduits au minimum : 1 poele, 1 casserole , pas d'éponge,...

"We can fully recommend Charnay Plaisance! The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. We will return!"
