"Fantastic location! Close to train station, restaurants, and Tower of Pisa. View of the waterway was lovely. We stayed for one night and it was convenient. We were able to leave our luggage after check out while we toured. It is a bit loud but for the convenience and price it was fine. Other guests at the Guest House were very quiet and respectful."

"Stayed for 3 nights for a local conference (CNR). I have limited Italian, but the staff were wonderful; very helpful and kind. breakfast was very good and very reasonably priced, and the room was clean and functional, and CNR was easily walkable (about 15 minutes gentle walk). There was a local supermarket within walking distance, as well as local restaurants. Very happy with my stay."

"La verdad el lugar estaba bien, la seguridad no tanto, eran puertas de madera muy vieja con un cerrojo, sumando de que se compartía baño y la gente no es que sea muy considerada con los demás, ya que no tiraban de la cadena y demás( todos problemas de convivencia) por otra parte ninguno de los propietarios estaba en la casa o en el hostal, se notaba mucha dejadez con la limpieza y no estaba todo limpio. Para solo dormir esta bien."

"Bed was very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was the cleanest I have ever seen - it sparkled! Ideally placed near to Leaning Tower and railway station a 20 minutes walk. A coffee shop is literally 10 feet from the front door. Numerous good quality eateries in the immediate vicinity. The couple who manage the rooms are very friendly and helpful. Great location for anyone with mobility issues, everything you may need is very close. "

"Quick easy walk from the airport. Able to be accessed in the wee hours of the morning after a late flight. Owner very communicative and easy to deal with. No air conditioner remote was in the room, but other than that everything was clean and comfortable."

"This small B and B (5 rooms) is very beautiful and the decor is artistic and elegant. So much attention to detail. My bed was so comfortable, and the shower great. I enjoyed sitting the garden when I arrived for a glass of wine and snack. It's about a five minute walk to Santa Maria gate to Centro. Maria, the owner, and Nadia, her assistant, were welcoming and attentive. "

"A cozy and quiet suite for three nites in the heart of historic Lucca. Perfetto! Cool December nites were no match for our cozy room. The bed and bedding made for great slumber, and the hot shower was welcomed after long days of exploring and dining. A separate room for lounging over a cup of tea was welcomed too. 77 steps up to our suite were not a problem for us ( both seniors) but for anyone with mobility issues it would not be suitable. (The young host did kindly offer to carry our bags.)...

"We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...
