This custom-built Lopez Island vacation rental offers pastoral landscapes, lush gardens, and gorgeous water views. It's also moments from the ferry landing, Spencer Spit State Park, and more north island sights.

You're only a short drive from Spencer Spit State Park, famous for its historic cabin, driftwood-strewn beaches, and seasonal clamming. Day trips await at the Ferry Landing four miles away, providing access to hiking on Orcas Island, shopping and dining in Friday Harbor, and all the convenience of the mainland. You're also a short drive from more beaches at Odlin County Park and the stores and restaurants of Lopez Village.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Lopez weekend

The home is wonderful, cozy, quaint, amazing view and had everything we needed. It was little hard to find. Part of that was the cell service on Lopez is not available on many cell services so Google maps couldn't help. Once we got there, it was perfect!

Great place for family vacation

Great place for a family of 7 to stay for 1 week in July. The house had everything we needed. The view was incredible! There were a couple minor problems, the upstairs bed could use a new mattress, and the anti-slip mat in the downstairs bathroom needs to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned, but otherwise the place was perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks!!

Great home base to explore Lopez and beyond. Beautiful secluded property with nice view of the bay. Well-equipped kitchen and working grill. Beds OK. Bikes available but you'd be a brave soul to travel far on them. As advertised and no complaints. Would stay again. Overall - excellent.

Wonderful

This is a beautiful, remote cabin with an awesome view. It's a wonderful place to decompress and take in the scenic beauty - relaxing and quiet. They have books, movies and games to use and a well enough stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Lovely setting with some drawbacks to the house

We were two families with young children staying for the weekend. We appreciated the beautiful setting, outdoor space including deck and volleyball net, generous use of bikes, and open layout to the kitchen/living room. However, 1) The upstairs bedroom has a wall that does not go all the way up to the ceiling, meaning that it is not at all soundproof. 2) The 4th bed (not in a bedroom) was extremely uncomfortable. 3) The whole house creaked with every step upstairs. 4) There are many little knick -knacks, some breakable, that we had to move to higher ground to get away from little people. 5) Many things in the house appear quite old/not updated. For example, the knob on a bathroom sink kept coming apart, the blender barely worked, and the griddle was literally coming apart. 6) The rails on the upstairs balcony are far enough apart that a baby/small toddler could probably get their head through. 7) Check-in at 4 and check-out at 10 seems a bit stingy to us. We liked it overall and DO recommend to those who are fine with "rustic," but we would not recommend to families with young kids who need good soundproofing. We also would not plan on using the 4th bed.

Peaceful stay in comfortable surrounding with lovely views

Remote, as we wished. Low profile vehicles might get a little bottom-scraping on the unpaved road that leads to the house. Rustic interior, comfortable, cozy with the fire. we used all 4 beds, a bit aged, but did the job. Enjoyed it as advertised!

Amazing Place!!

Loved this property! Great location, clean, all the amenities, and a great selection of kids toys / entertainment pieces. My husband said he’s never seen our kids so happy!! Tried to stay additional nights but someone beat us to it, will definitely be back.

Perfect spot to relax with kids

The meadow was fantastic for playing, the pile of toys and kid books were a hit, and there were enough activities on the property to let us just relax and spend our time enjoying the view

Charming house, large property w/ wonderful views, terribly maintained by Vacasa

This log home has plenty of warmth and charm. You feel good in this place because you can see the love the owners have put into it when they built and decorated it. There's a three volume photo album in the house that chronicles the construction back in the 90s. The entire space, and the property on which it resides, deserves more respect than past guests have given it and Vacasa, the so-called property manager, has done nothing to ameliorate the previous slobs that have passed through the front door of this very special place. I'm always amazed at how selfish and lazy people become when they use someone else's house. We stayed only two nights, but were still charged a sizable cleaning fee by Vacasa. I can tell you that Vacasa is probably paying someone a fraction of that to perform the bare minimum of cleaning tasks and pockets the difference to improve the company's profit margins. Zero quality control with respect to the condition of the property exists and whatever the owners are paying Vacasa, they are being ripped off. I would avoid renting any property allegedly maintained and managed by Vacasa.

The weather was perfect. View and house were amazing.

House had everything we could ask for and more. Woke up to a beautiful view with deer every morning. House was perfect fit for all of us. Many items available for family activities. Would have liked a little more hot water but other that that it was perfect.

Beautiful getaway

This was a wonderful place for our weekend getaway for 4. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious. The property was beautiful with a fantastic view! Spencer Spit state park was within (decent) walking distance which was a great bonus! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property. Private. Everything we needed was the there.

We had an amazing trip. We biked on to the Farie in Anacortas and biked off on Lopez. 4 miles to the wonderful log house. 2 miles to town fir groceries. Toured the whole island on our bikes. My 8 year old daughter can't wait to go again. Relaxing and tranquil.

Beautiful place for a family gathering.

We rented this beautiful home for a two night stay. It was quite lovely. It was very spacious and exceeded our required needs. The view from the main living area and balcony was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed playing horseshoes and ladder ball. However, we did encounter a few problems. Upon arrival, one bed was not sleep ready. We had to look for the proper size sheets an get the bed ready for our stay. There were wet linens in the clothes dryer. I was concerned that they could have become moldy, so I set them to dry and folded them. We were unable to have coffee on the first morning of our stay because the coffee maker didn't work.. I called the property manager twice, but received no reply. After contacting VACASA, a new coffee maker was delivered. (Thanks for our second morning coffee.). After informing VACASA of the lack sheets and wet linens during the coffee call,, they issued a refund of the cleaning fee. This was appreciated. All things considered, I wish we would have had a few more days there and would recommend this location.

We really loved this quiet, gorgeous home overlooking the water on quiet, friendly Lopez Island. The home had everything we needed, including bicycles on the porch for us to use! We loved our stay.

Overpriced. Low to non existent on important essentials

It needed extra paper towels and toilet paper. There wasn't even an extra roll!! And we had 4 adults. It also needs a good thorough cleaning. In all areas. The setting was quiet and serene. It was overpriced for what you got. Beds NOT comfortable. Would I stay there again? No. Couches were comfortable.

Serene setting, beautiful home!

Everything was so nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The abundant wildlife, the quiet atmosphere, invigorating bike rides around the island, the northern lights dancing in the northwest... We can't say enough! The house was neat and clean, and was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, as far as pots, pans, and utensils. Although we were disappointed that there was not direct access to the beach from the property, we will definitely be returning to this beautiful home on Lopez Island! We may even bring the grandkids with us next time.

Gorgeous house in amazing spot!

Everything was wonderful, as we drove up to the house three deer were standing in the garden with views of the water behind. House is really pretty and very comfortable, our two sons loved the loft area and the vhs player and videos were thoroughly enjoyed. We will be back.
