"Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. We were traveling with 17 people in our party. Five adults and 12 girls (5-17 years). The house was spacious and comfortable and included plenty of beds/room for everyone. If you are not used to driving on West Virginia mountains roads, I would definitely recommend arriving during daylight hours. The road up the mountain to the house is very narrow in places and it was a bit scary the first time at night. Lots of room in the kitchens for cooking and eating. Would stay here again. "

"Great place to disconnect from stresses of everyday life and enjoy a relaxing lifesyle. Creeks to splash in, river to float, mud puddles to splash in and dirt roads to adventure down. Everyone was so welcoming from liz, bars/restaurants, to the locals. The road up started the adventure and set the tone for getting away from it all. Id call it a primitive setting, no bells, no whistles, but just what we needed. If i did need a bell or whistle, liz would have procided it quickly. Cant say enough good about her as a person and host. Cabin #2 has what you need, laundry, bathroom, ac/fan, stove/fridge and lots of lentils and split peas lol. Cant wait to return! And the dogs loved it too. "

The home was fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was using the kayaks for a short trip from the bridge — it was the perfect way to take in the breathtaking mountain landscape.Our hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. "A beautiful little cottage in a retreat setting what was a minster type solitude type campground .No TV no WIFI no cell service just nature .So not for Teck savvy people that haft to have this. Just. peace and relaxation Patsy the cleaning was remarkable lady. She went out to make your stay was enjoyable. So just enjoy the peace and meditate"
