"The rooms we had were set in a beautiful setting in the countryside but only a short drive to Looe and main roads to other parts of Cornwall. We went to Padstow for a day which was about a hours drive . We had the Lily Lovedays room which was very clean and modern and the Peacocks Perch with more traditional furnishings.The bathroom was a little tired looking in Peacocks Perch but this would not stop me returning to the property. Tea and coffee was supplied with longline milk and there is crockery supplied in the room if you purchase food elsewhere. However there is NO facilities to prepare food. As previously suggested a mini fridge to store fresh milk and a toaster would be handy for breakfast. I was aware of this beforehand so again it wouldn't stop me returning to the property. Gemma the owner made us feel very welcome and kept in touch throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and you are greeted with peacocks in the grounds . We would definitely return if we decide to return to this area of Cornwall again."

"Stunning room with a stunning view. We stayed two nights in the upper deck and it was just fab. No restaurant as such so you’ll have to travel but we found a couple of fantastic places. If you don’t mind going out for dinner, this could be the perfect place"

"Beautiful property in a stunning location. The owner was on hand and lovely. Vrbo listing is inaccurate as states Polperro, Looe, however location is Portwrinkle. The owner does provide an accurate location before checking in however. Fantastic week in a beautiful location, will hopefully return one day."

"Cottage is very well equipped right in the middle of Looe. Easy to park to unload - and about 10-mins walk to the main car park. Nice sitting on the bench outside!"

"What a gem of a find! Lovely hotel, recently refurbished from derelict and oh my what a wonderful job they have done! Decor is bright and clean. Amazing view of the bay from the huge lounge window. Single room was clean and comfortable with en-suite bath, shower and toilet. A working TV with all the channels which was unusual in my experience and much welcomed. James the owner and his staff were friendly and so helpful. The centre of Looe is a 10 - 15 minute walk away downhill (bit of a tough climb back up). Limited parking on site, but I had no trouble. Surrounding roads are busy and narrow. Looe itself was such a warm, friendly beautiful place and everything I hoped it would be. Lots to see and do. Busy, but peaceful and chilled. People were so friendly. Will definately return!"
