"Was a lovely location, some features were quite dated. Most of this was just the look but some was functionally impacted. Such as the mould in the shower, the roller door on the carport and the lighting. Beds were comfortable, everything in the kitchen worked. Courtyard was well fenced for the dogs, although it should be noted there was no grass. Had no contact with the host. It would have been nice to have some instructions such as parking, lights, access. Overall, nothing was a deal breaker but could have been more welcoming. "

"Stayed at Point Lonsdale Apartments recently — great location, but overall disappointing. Advertised as 4-star, but felt closer to 3-star. Rooms are older and could use a more thorough clean (noticeable dust). The “premium bedding” didn’t live up to the claim either — very firm beds and wafer-thin pillows made for an uncomfortable stay, and we ended up checking out early. Biggest issue was the lack of transparency around access — there was no mention of four flights of stairs to reach the apartment. This was particularly concerning as my mother had a near miss with a fall. We asked about cancelling the remaining nights due to this, but were told it would only be considered if the room was rebooked, regardless of the fact the listing did not mention so many stairs. Balcony overlooked the cemetery, which may or may not be your thing. Point Lonsdale is a great spot, but we wouldn’t stay at Point Lonsdale Apartments again."
