"We arrived late on a Friday night and waited 20 mins at the front desk to get checked in without an apology. The room was clean except for hairs all over the floor. The shower and sink water never got hot and the elevator was extremely wonky. Breakfast was run of the mill, nothing to write home about. I think the item that stood out the most was how unfriendly and sanitized the staff was. Not sure if it was a bad weekend or what, but we probably won't book here again."

"This property is amazing, it was a beautiful spacious home. It was clean with beautiful furniture and a wonderful neighborhood. The kitchen had everything needed. The master bedroom with the fire place was spectacular and roomy. I took decoration ideas for my own home. My family wants to come back to Texas just so we can stay in this magnificent house. "

"The home was spectacular. My family really enjoyed themselves. There was plenty of room to move around and celebrate. The host checked in on us daily to make sure we were comfortable and if anything was needed."

"Too many options to choose from in Cypress. This rental should not be one of them. Poor communication with the host. I texted request for check-in instructions on day prior to arrival – no response. I texted again at time of check-in (3:00 pm) – again, no response. I called at 3:45, and was able to reach host. He hurried me off the phone, saying he’d IM instructions, which were immediately received. Included in the check-in instructions, he said there would be soft drinks and bottled water upon arrival. Nope. Scoured the house looking for the tv remote for the master bedroom. Never found. I did find, however, the missing smoke alarm in the dresser drawer. We could not use the master shower. The temperature control knob was non-functional. The only option was scalding hot water. Very dangerous!! Part of the rental agreement was also the use of the pontoon boat. We didn’t dare take him up on the offer – the driver seat was not bolted to the floor. Someone previously must have had fun in it though. The ashtray was full of cigarette butts. Not surprisingly, we were given no check-out instructions. "
