"We stayed at Moose Lane Cottages for 12 days in July 2026, and it was one of the best places we’ve stayed in Alaska. The cottage was exceptionally clean — everything was spotless from the moment we walked in. It was also very well-appointed and thoughtfully laid out, with comfortable furnishings and a great flow throughout the space.I was especially impressed with the amenities. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed (and more), making our stay incredibly convenient and comfortable. The location was perfect too — quiet and private, yet still close to everything we wanted to do in the Soldotna area.Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend!"

"Super clean, appeared to be newer construction, well decorated, comfy beds with good bedding. More spacious than a typical hotel room and true queen beds. My expectation was hotel with a front desk, but more of a VRBO feel. Call to check in and get the lock box code to get your key...super simple and the folks on the phone were kind and helpful...made staying an extra night a no brainer. Thanks, James"

"The house was clean and comfortable for a family of 4. It is in good location, close to stores. If you are coming for salmon fishing it is kinda midpoint between Russian River and Kasilof. After rainy 3 days in Denali, it was nice to come to Soldotna and be welcomed by sunshine :) we enjoyed our stay."

"A classic Alaskan cabin experience. From the moment we walked in the front door this place felt like home. Rustic yet comfortable at the same time with all the amenities. We really enjoyed the wood stove and the over-abundance of seasoned firewood split and ready to go. Viewing the stars over the lakefront property at night was the icing on top. Really looking forward to booking this property again for a summer stay. Gotta see how much fun that lake can be once she’s thawed."

Mattresses could be a little bit better.But we are probably a little bit older than most customers.Also went to go and grill dinner, grill was a mess so decided to just cook on the stove inside, I guess some people can’t read the rules or they just forget to clean it, or the cleaning crew forgot to check it "
