"My husband and I absolutely loved this property. Super clean, nicely decorated, plenty of room, kitchen fully stocked. Property grounds were beautiful and well maintained. This is a great house. The only issue was checking in. We arrived an hour early because of the time change from MI to WI. We asked about accessing the house early since there was no cleaning crew and the house was clearly accessible. However VueStay never gave us the okay, they did quickly respond and said they were waiting for the okay from the cleaning crew but that never happened. So we waited in the driveway for an hour. Never had this happen before. Regardless, VueStay responded quickly and checked on us and followed up after our stay. I highly recommend this property."

"Spectacular Views, but Disappointing Accommodations — 4 StarsThe views from Ray’s Retreat are absolutely spectacular and easily the highlight of our stay! The upstairs living area was charming, cozy, and comfortable.Unfortunately, the downstairs primary bedroom and bathroom were disappointing. Renovations appeared unfinished, with light fixtures hanging from the ceiling, areas around the shower needing repair, poor lighting, and an unpleasant septic-like odor. The space felt dark and dungeon-like compared to the inviting upstairs. The stairs were also challenging due to my mobility limitations. On a positive note, the showers had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water!Cleanliness was another concern. Several dishes were downright dirty, and a posted notice essentially placed responsibility for sanitizing dishes on guests. For the price of this rental, clean dishes should be a basic expectation.We also had no working Wi-Fi, and VueStay, the property management company, was unable to resolve the issue.As longtime Vrbo customers, we found this to be one of the most misleading properties we’ve experienced. The spectacular setting and cozy upstairs were wonderful, but the overall condition and management fell short of expectations. With better maintenance and cleanliness, this property could be a real gem."

"Great location. Spent labor day weekend on this beautiful lake home. It had everything one would need. Privacy, shallow clean beach, fire pit, boat deck, clean home, peaceful area but still near the town. Highly recommend it! And would like to return next year"

"This lake house is absolutely stunning. Lisa has an incredible talent for making an environment that makes you feel like you are at home for your stay there. The private beach is quiet, the water clear. We brought our dog, and it was an exceptionally pet friendly place - crates, bowls, etc, were available if needed. We are so grateful for how accessible and kind Lisa was when we did have questions. You will have a beautiful, memory making stay here!"
