"Went up north for the holiday weekend to go tubing down the Au Sable River. Cabin was very clean and suited our needs. The land is well maintained. Close to town so you can get some dinner and ice cream. Host responded well to texts and phone calls, but did not get the VRBO messages initially sent so I would stick with communication via the cell phone."

"First of all let me say, the pictures on line don’t due justice to the actual home. There were 6 adults 4 kids and 2 dogs. There was plenty of space to accommodate all of us and still not feel like we were on top of each other. The lake was just perfect and the kids loved the kayaks and fishing off the dock. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We are definitely going to rebook this house.Jim and Lori answered all of our questions and were very prompt with their response. Loved the campfire and the free use of the firewood.One drawback, there is a lot of stairs from the water to the house, I guess it’s good exercise. Thank you again Jim and Lori."

"Quiet location, easy access to lots of Michigan outdoor activities. Wide open space with lots of beds (7-8 beds total, but limited privacy). We were primarily just looking for a place to sleep and it fit the bill perfectly. Billiards table to enjoy. Lots of seating and lots of space if you had a larger group. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Easy to tidy up since it's all linoleum flooring."
