"Iconic Long Hai is one of the better properties located in Long Hai. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean with the exception of the grout inside the shower. The bed are comfortable, however the luggage rack are design more for just carry on luggage’s. If you bring a large luggage, it will not fit. Breakfast buffet only available on the weekends or whenever they have high occupancy; otherwise, there’s an à la carte menu. The breakfast is decent.
At night time, they close the garage door, so if you drive a vehicle, it can be a little bit of an inconvenience . You personally have to go to the front desk to let them know that you either want to enter or exit the garage. At night time, they do try to save electric by having the lights turn off in the lobby. They have the lights turn off in rooms corridor as well, which can be dangerous.
Checking out was simple. The don’t hold any credit card for incidental , so they have someone check your room before leaving.
One thing, I felt that was odd, is the front desk is very concern with returning the room keys. Most hotels I stay at, they don’t really care if the guest return the room keys or not, especially if it’s a five or four star property.
Overall, I would return, it’s just now I know what to expect."
