The bungalow was in a great location and accurately depicted. The bathroom is TINY, and the eating nook is nice, however there is a bar to eat at if necessary. Since it only sleeps 2 people, the eating nook ins’t really necessary. It would be even better to enlarge the bathroom so an average size person can comfortably shower and use the toilet without turning sideways.Response was prompt and courteous when texting

Very cute cottage. Felt private even so close to town.
Close to beach and town. Clean little place. Only complaint would be the size of bathroom, but hey everything was functional so everything was good. Would stay again.

The place is perfect for a couple! Can hear the waves. Nice cozy place to enjoy sitting outside and relax!
This is my second or third time staying at this cottage. And I Love how peaceful I feel and the location is prime. Thank you again for being wonderful hosts. Can't wait for the next time.
The location of the property was excellent. The property was exactly how it looks in the pictures. The property management contact reached out to us during our stay to make sure everything was great. It was so cute and a super relaxing weekend getaway.
This bungalow was so cute and charming! The location was amazing! I loved the daily messages from the PM making sure I was good. I was so happy and peaceful which was exactly what I was looking for.
This is the seventh year my husband and I have spent in Long Beach for Independence Day, and with each trip we've stayed in a different rental. Beachside Bungalow has been the cleanest rental we've stayed in, with the most thoughtful amenities, by far. Check in was super easy, and Amber was extremely responsive, even when I messaged with a question, after-hours (oops!) When I book a short-term rental, I don't tend to reach out to property management during my stay unless there is an urgent issue, but Amber's helpful communication made me feel comfortable reaching out with another question or two during my stay. Her replies were always prompt, polite, and helpful. Much appreciated!
The bungalow was clean and thoughtfully stocked. Nearly all of the dishes we used were squeaky clean, despite there being no dishwasher, which is a small miracle in my experience. We especially appreciated the full-size coffee pot, abundance of paper products and clean towels, and coat/towel hooks wherever you would hope to find one. While the bungalow didn't seem to get overly hot, we like to sleep cool, so the small oscillating fan was a lifesaver for warm nights.
Two things that would have made our stay even better: a retractable screen for the sliding door, and a small sofa to have a place to sit and relax that isn't the bed. For me, personally, I would give up a king-size bed for a queen + small sofa but I know that's not for everyone.
Located in the center of town enabled us to walk to restaurants, stores and the beach. Being in our 70’s the closeness was very important. There were a few flaws with the studio nothing that couldn’t be tolerated,

Disliked: Location
Foot Traffic Day/Night
Neighbors were smoking Marijuana which is not a big deal but since the cabins are real close together we were unable to open our windows when they would smoke on their back deck. Noise usually until 12am with foot traffic.

Worst vacation rental experience ever
We rented Bungalow #6. We unloaded and put away our belongings after a long drive. The space was the size of an inside cabin on a cruise ship approximately 120 square feet. Small fridge, not enough room to hold the food we brought. When using the toilet our feet had to be in the shower. Actual size should have been on listing. My husband lit the gas fire place and it was malfunctioning. There was a small flame on one side and the fan didn't turn on. We let Bloomer Estates know of the problem. They sent Kyle the Maintenance Mgr. to check on the problem. He said, "the fan was not right for this stove and he wasn't able to fix the gas because he wasn't certified. We have a fear of malfunctioning gas starting a fire or blowing up. Kyle said he might be able to get someone out the next day, but they would probably need to order parts. We asked Amber if there was a comparable property to move to. She gave us two choices and said, "she was going home in ten minutes". The cost was more and refused to offer us a discount. Bloomer Estates have 60 properties and we were staying midweek. We paid the full price. We didn't want to stay at Bungalow #6 since we could be in danger, so we said, "yes". I asked her and 5 other employees if the gas problem was fixed, they refused to answer. The place we moved to was beyond rustic. The walls were unfinished ply-wood and T1-11. We will never rent from Bloomer Estates again!
