"The home was exactly as described. There was plenty of space - with a nice sized kitchen and bath and comfy beds. The big bonus? It was close to town and only a 25-minute one-way drive to Mt. Whitney. Aside from driving to Mt. Whitney, we walked everywhere. The town grocery store (Lone Pine Market) was just about .5 miles from the house, was much bigger than expected, and had some good options for my vegan daughter. Other town favorites included Vibras for great smoothies and juices, the library, and the museum. If I'm ever back in the area, we will stay here again. "

"Lonewest is and was absolutely perfect! - Amazingly relaxing, peaceful, rejuvenating, and the night time stars were perfect! - Is only a 17 minute drive from Mount Whitney trailhead and a quick 10 minute drive to the Main Street in Lone Pine.
