Absolutely lovely. Excellent breakfast, comfortable room, all in a lovely historic building. Be sure to dine at the Petersham Nursery restaurant- exquisite!

exceptional property providing great accommodation and a great restaurant. The staff were all exceptional in every respect and clearly the hotel is managed very professionally and the staff well trained. We would really like to stay again if the opportunity presents - while not cheap the hotel represents - as so many of its class do not - real value for money in a great location.

Wonderful hotel with the most amazing views. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was lovely with an amazing bathroom and separate toilet. Right by Petersham Common, the River Thames and very close to Petersham Nurseries ( a must visit 💚). 20 minute walk along the river to Richmond town and Subway into Central London. Would highly recommend ❤️

The hotel is in a lovely situation just outside Richmond town centre and with wonderful views. Staff are helpful. But bear in mind that it is an older property and the rooms don't have air conditioning and it has baths rather than walk in showers. Very enjoyable place to stay

This is a lovely hotel in a quiet part of Richmond. Several nice pubs around. Good car parking and walk into town is 10m (maybe 15 to the station). Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. View from the grounds is amazing (it’s a little way up Richmond Hill). To consider for your trip - no A/C, which was common in older UK hotels but would make smaller rooms uncomfortable over 25/30C. I was solo and got the single room, these open onto the courtyard, which gets very noisy when the lounge fills with drunk guests after conventions and events (of which there were several). The noise abated after midnight but be aware sleep may be difficult without earplugs if you’re booking on of these.

Chose this hotel as I had previously attended a function. It has a wonderful view and is an elegant historic building. However, the shower control in the narrow bath was broken and difficult to adjust. The balcony door would not lock. The restaurant closed earlier than we were told, so we ate in the bar. A service charge was added to the bar bill and then again when it was transferred to our room, therefore double charging. A £30 offer against food and drink was forgotten at check out and we had to ask for this to be included. Very disappointing.

This hotel was a delight to stay in. I had a comfortable room with a good bathroom. The communal areas of this hotel are absolutely lovely in my opinion. I like their style. My breakfast was excellent. The staff were very considerate and helpful. I would like to stay here again when in the Richmond area. Many thanks.
