"This is student accommodation that turns into a bed and breakfast over the summer. For me this meant that I had a private room close to central london for the price of a hostel bed. The building, the rooms, the bathrooms are quite old. However, it didnt really bother me since I was staying there only for one night. It was quite loud at night as its located in a busy area. "Like many other reviewers, I have to complain about the metal drawers at the bottom of the bunk beds. I thought I'd be ok with it because I usually wear earplugs. But those noises are unavoidable unless you put on shooting ear mufflers. I constantly woke up at night due to that noise and wasn't able to sleep well during my 3 day stay there. Although they offered the cheapest price for a great location, I would have picked a different place where I can at least sleep through the night."

"the family room (3 adults was so tiny that given one chair to sit on would have hardly left room for the luggage! The bedding was off and the mattress was very comfortable for a bunk bed. The toilets sinks and shower areas were clean but afforded little or no privacy. "

"Showers had super high water pressure (good and bad thing haha). The door is hard to open to get into the room because it backs right up to a bed so a bit awkward. But overall, great experience, very social hostel, helpful staff. Super close to Borough Market which is a must. It was sort of loud at night just because the city is noisy. "

"Excellent service. I had a superior 1 bedroom for family. Very clean. Sofa bed was already laid out when we arrived. Complimentary spring water in fridge. Enough towels for 4 people which is great. Check out time is 11am. Two t.v. Wi-Fi was good. Hair conditioner was provided. Leaving luggage at reception was great. Only two very small things I would add is no herbal tea bags provided, you might want to bring your own. There is decaf coffee. Also the bathroom is en-suite in the bedroom...
