"We were delighted to pull into a beautiful working horse farm at the edge of town. It's quiet at night, and dark enough to get a beautiful view of the stars. Super friendly cats! The unit is clean, has everything we needed to cook up a breakfast, and offerred a nice place to rest in between wine tastings. We were lucky enough to see a SpaceX rocket launch from Vandenburg AFB. "Such a great experience. The property manager/owners were so friendly and accomodating. The interaction with the animals was truly a highlight. The house was set up perfect for the 6 people we had. Beds and couch were comfortable and clean. The whole house was well kept, updated, and clean as well. We will definitely be back!"

"If you don't like animals you won't like it here. The views were great, watching the full moon set out of the big windows and then the sun come up through the kitchen window was neat. My only real complaint is the bathroom was made for shorter people it seems. Short shower head and curtain and the vanity mirror is really low but overall just a minor inconvenience."

We had one hiccup beyond the owners control when the power was turned off by PGE on Thanksgiving. But immediately the owner provided a generator and were ready if the power did return. "We all (family and friends) really enjoyed our stay. With 4 bedrooms, large living room, kitchen, breakfast room, dining room and ‘man cave’ plus a patio and pool, we had plenty of room. Only negative is the only way into the house is via steps which were difficult with my bad knees (66 years old). Great view of Lompoc from living room."
