The road is dirt, big bumps and ruts, and its hard to find because there is no cell service. The house is noce if you can handle all the stairs. Great place if you want aquiet, private, retreat type vacation."

"this is a large, tranquil property very near the entrance of portola redwoods state park. there are 3 cabins, one occupied permanently in the front by a friendly and kind man ,Michael ( and his mom),who are keeping an eye out on everything. just behind the front cabin, there is a large 3 bedroom cabin which was our base for the park, along with a tiny ,but cozy cabin that was behind it, with plenty of room to stretch out for everybody.
