"If you are looking to get away from it all, noise, traffic every day city life this is a must place to stay. It’s situated off the road and every morning you can sit out front with your cup of coffee or hot tea and listen to the birds and the absolute silence around you. Now we had our own car and being from the US we had to drive on a different side of the street but that being said it wasn’t all that difficult. My husband was a pro. There were so many cool things to do within two hours of where we were at most places were within 30 to 40 minutes And it was amazing. Jim the caretaker he was so helpful and patient and had so much knowledge of the area he was a joy. Even when I had to email the owner, he always responded so quickly and graciously because I’m sure some of my questions were a little silly that he always was there to help me within moments of my text/email. For me, my absolute favorite part was every night of the three weeks we were there the sunset over the lake was absolutely breathtaking."

"We stayed for 2 wonderful off grid weeks at this charming cottage. Eileen was a wonderful host. I was amazed at how responsive she was during the planning especially since there was such a time difference in our locations. My husband has some mobility issues, and Eileen answered all our questions to make sure that we were going to be comfortable. The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed plus more for our extended stay. We had safety vests for walking, a Tesco grocery tag and reusable grocery bags for grocery shopping. A resource binder with touring information was especially helpful because at the time of our stay the regional internet provider was still disrupted due to the storms earlier in the year. If staying in a charming cottage in a peaceful setting in the beautiful Irish countryside has any appeal then staying at Eileen's cottage will be a dream fulfilled. "

"I had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue was there was some type of teen event going on and they were very loud in the hallways. Thankfully they stopped after a while. That is absolutely no fault of the hotel. Breakfast was good parking was great. "

"Lovely to be upgraded to a better room and nice views and super food in dinning areas. Only small concern was that the cupboard holding the fridge needed better ventilation so the fridge would work - when the door was shut it all got very hot making the fridge less efficient."

"After our experience at the last cottage, which was less than welcoming (guest instructions posted like confetti around whole house), cluttered, and unclean, we weren't sure what to expect.We weren’t disappointed! Seán allowed us to check in early and met us at their cottage to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for more!The cottage was spotlessly clean and had some basic supplies (tea, sugar, etc.). We took advantage of Suzi's cooking and generosity by ordering her soda bread and a cottage pie for two which would easily feed four and all for a very reasonable 25...thank you, Suzi We humans soon made friends with the resident cats, who thankfully were very dog savvy moggies, although our dogs were less entranced Would we recommend? Undoubtably!Would we come again? Absolutely!"
