The Red Dog Chalet Couples Retreat w/ Hot Tub

"For starters shawn is awesome. He accommodated Us in every way possible. He took the time to send us all different locations for the activities we wanted different things in the area just went far above and beyond investing time from his own personal life to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Even went is so far as to let us use his personal property to house our dirt bikes so that place for them. By far this is the most beautiful place I've ever rented on the internet. The way it is set up it feels like it's in a little Resort right off the road in the back of the mountains. If you're going to just relax and get away you don't even have to leave it's absolutely beautiful. I will say that if you're not going to either ride motorcycles or ATVs or just go to relax and get away there might not be much to do just because it is a small mining town so outside of those things there wasn't much for us to do but there are things like a grocery store and Walmart that are in close proximity which is pretty convenient. We are from Baltimore so it was a 7-hour trip but I can't really think of a better place to just relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The place is clean it's very well maintained I really don't have anything negative to say whatsoever. It was so nice in fact that when I got home my dog seemed to be depressed because she was so used to just laying around outside and running around the property LOL. Great experience. Thank you Shawn we will be back!"

"The HVAC system is under renovation and the rooms didn’t seem to cool off good. The pool was closed for maintenance for several days. Someone doesn’t automatically clean the room/change towels you have to request at the front desk."

"Loved the property and was able to relax after getting off work. Wifi worked well, AC worked great and the water pressure made for a relaxing shower. Would definitely love to stay her again. Beds well maintained and so were the towels."

"Stay was very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was on point also. Originally booked earlier this year in February for July and had to rebook for August due to a reschedule. Pool was closed in February and was still closed during our August stay. Other than that 👍"
3 bedroom home quiet neighborhood close to trails

"Overall, a great stay. I do wish the upstairs had better air conditioning, and there is a soil ant issue in the kitchen. Nothing terrible, but two things that would make the stay even better. Great hosts and a good property."

"We had a cousins weekend. The house is absolutely amazing. Very spacious rooms. We would highly recommend this house. We will be going back to stay again next year. Paula was very fast to respond and communicate with. The pool was a great addition as well."

"Location was great for riding the HMT. Lots of space/rooms for 14 of us. No hot tub as advertised in title. Two general spaces even though pics show more, they are on different floors. Great stay over all. Kitchen stocked. Bath and laundry bring your own."
