"We have been staying at this location when in town to visit family for the past 15 years which obviously we preferred in the area until our last visit. As we checked in the desk attendant was busy yet still friendly, all Good! Rooms are getting out dated yet still I thought reasonable yet a little over priced for what we got! Which leads me to the big issue we had. At breakfast the next morning we witnessed a scene that should never have happened. As we were getting our food together which if I may say is much better then most as they do have the regular basics but also sausage, eggs and biscuits and gravy that help makes the room rate reasonable. When a young lady, guessing above the minimum age to enter alone grabbed herself what appeared to us as a roll of some kind and a glass of juice and headed back to her room when out of nowhere a male attendant came out of the back room and blocked her exit. In a angry voice scolded her for trying to take food out of the area pointing to a little sign on the wall stating that was an infraction and to either leave it or sit down. Half in tears she sat and ate alone until the rest of her party came down. We have taken our food back to our rooms many times to eat and pack at the same time which is the new role we would abide by but the manner in which he attacked the young lady was unacceptable leaving to think twice before returning. The rest of the staff was kind and considerate and the rooms clean just getting outdated. "

"The views! Absolutely amazing! Deer were grazing right in front of us! The lake is just gorgeous! People were canoeing and fishing. The home has canoes and fishing gear for you to use. Every single thing was clean. I don’t even know how they are able to keep it all so Preston’s. Parts of the home has floors made of stone. The walls are made of stone. It’s a true castle! Looks like a cabin inside. I absolutely love it. I only wish we had more time to explore. It’s 15 mins from LakePoint. We were here for a basketball tournament. Tons of towels, dishes, coffee pods, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Smart TVs in all rooms for all the kids and me There’s a playroom downstairs and a little loft area upstairs with sofas. It’s such a cute and cozy place. Also tons of restaurants and places just a short drive away. We had great food from Caribbean Vibes and Uber some food from Fusion Kitchen. You won’t go wrong with this one!"

"Overall the property was good. Just a couple of things kept me from giving it 5 stars. First, the good: It is a really cute house in a nice, quiet neighborhood with quick access to highways to get where you need to go. All for a very competitive price. Communication with the property management is pretty good and instructions for accessing the house were clear. As you walk in, the downstairs is beautiful. Then, things go a little south. As you move upstairs, the carpet is very dirty. The walls have marks and smudges all over them. There is broken furniture in one of the bedrooms. And the shower curtain in one of the bathrooms was very dirty. I mention these things because it would be so easy, and somewhat cheap, to fix or correct them.My only other complaints are the very late check-in of 4:00pm and the ID/credit card verification process. I inquired about a possible early check-in. I was told they would look it in to it and never heard anything back. As for the ID and credit card verification. I understand that some 3rd party management companies require this. But it is still a little off-putting to receive last minute messages asking for copies of ID's and pictures of your credit card. Especially when your ID and payment have already been verified through VRBO."

"The perfect weekend with the family! Very clean, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and gorgeous setting. We enjoyed walking the nearby paths and exploring Acworth. This was a breath of fresh air for us. Thank you! "
