"The staff member, Dito, who checked us in was exceptional. Friendly and helpful and greeted us with champagne. He showed us around the property, including their new multi-level building, which is very nice but it lacks an elevator. The room we were in was in their single-level older building. We would gladly stay at this property again, although we may prefer the single-story building so as to avoid dragging luggage up the stairs. These room in the older building have a patio. Because we only stayed one night, we did not have the chance to use any of their facilities, although we did have a nice dinner at the on-property restaurant. The property is a very short 5 or 10-minute walk to the waterfront and next to much shopping"

"Wonderful breakfast. Ceiling fan and A/C in room. Only drawback was having to haul my suitcase up a flight of stairs. No help was offered. Free parking on site."

"Everything good, room clean , spacious and airy. Receptionist very nice. Breakfast staff lovely particularly Simon who was brilliant and spoke good English. Nice overall location ,quiet and plenty of parking. However you had to pay for parking, and the swimming pool which is supposed to be heated was very chilly and we couldn't swim. As was the jacuzzi. A shame."

"Wenn Du noch das Ostseefeeling wie vor 30 Jahren suchst (keine Bettenburgen, nicht jede Baulücke zugebaut), dann passt Karlshagen sehr gut! Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt - gleich hinter den Dünen. Ostsee - Strand - Entspannung! Wir haben einfach nichts zu meckern .... und unser Köti fand es auch seeehr hundefreundlich ..."
