"What a gem Lake Anna is. We visited from PA and could not have been happier. The home was clean upon arrival and the kitchen had what we needed for the week. It was cozy and definitely shouted lake life. I loved the rooftop deck! We enjoyed the included kayaks. Grocery store was very close. We rented a boat, visited a winery, and enjoyed great food. "This was a lovely renovated and updated farm house. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped. We were there during a horrible heatwave and the A/C was a delight!! Only item that could be improved is the addition of blackout curtains in at least a few of the bedrooms. The house is white in all rooms and very bright. Take a sleep mask! This is a a lovely home."

"The B unit is enormous with huge rooms and plenty of space. The bedrooms don't have closets and the bathrooms are very small compared to the overall space. Neither bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. The grounds are pleasant with several outdoor seating areas and huge decks. Other guests were easily overheard. Easy access for people with mobility challenges. Plenty of parking."

"Plenty of space, accurate listing. Be sure to read the portion around 3 of the bedrooms with breezeway entry if you have small kids. Great views and easy communication! When we stayed there was construction on both sides (the only downfall of trip)- otherwise, fantastic spot, great fishing and would return!"

"We can't say enough about this beautiful property. We planned our trip so we could spend some time together as a family before dropping our daughter off to JMU. The house is beautiful, the views are spectacular. It's a very peaceful location, but also close to many breweries and wineries. We enjoyed the fenced in back yard for our dog, Neo. He was in heaven too. Doug, the proprietor, was wonderful & accessible. We can't wait to come back!! "

"Cabin was great, was a little concerned about the road in but it wasn’t a problem. Location to park and hikes good, luray caverns, James Madison home also worth seeing. 5 deer out the back window on Saturday. Thanks for the new deck and steps. 😊. Only suggestion would be we had salt and no pepper and no charcoal for the grill. Beds are old and we ended up using two but all in all a fun cabin. "
