"The pictures do not give this property justice. It is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. This was one of the best Vrbo homes we have ever stayed in. Nature buffs like me can enjoy bird watching, listening to many critters out in the distance and it is within driving distance of many hiking trails and wilderness areas."

"We have rented VRBO in White Sulphur Springs previously for annual family reunion at Lake Sherwood, and we have used the spa over the past few years, but we did not realize there were cottage apartments and were thrilled to discover them on VRBO. Our 4 night stay was peaceful and very nice. Loved the rocking chairs and fire pit, and we ate in the Cafe one morning. Apartment is clean, comfortably furnished, and the kitchen and breakfast area perfect for our needs. the bedrooms are other worldly as you can see in the pictures! Mattress and pillows very comfortable and bathroom very nice. At first, we worried about the sulphur water (dont worry, they give you bottled water in the kitchen to make coffee and drink or cook with -Culligan style large bottle with faucet), but the. Showers are medicinal and a tub soak nice… we got used to it quickly. The property is so green and welcoming, it is even a nice place with kids.. we had family with teens next door and they have a small play area for the little ones. This is a little West Virginia jewel and hidden secret in this beautiful location."

"We had such a great stay. So quiet and secluded in nature! We saw deer and many other wildlife on the property. Tons of songbirds and butterflies everywhere. Chipmunks! Only a 2 minute drive to the cute little town Marlinton which had anything we needed including some good little coffee shops and pubs. We even stopped eating out the last few meals so we could cook in the cabin and enjoy some meals in it. The cabin we had was so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Spent a lot of time sitting on the porch and enjoying nature. The hosts are very accommodating and had the cabin ready and spotless for us! Thank you Caley!!"
