"The things I liked: it was cheaper than other hotels. It was convenient to my route. It was reasonably quiet, although I could hear my neighbors quite clearly when they made soft noises. There were lots of pillows, so I could sleep sitting up, when the mattress was too uncomfortable to sleep on. Things I didn’t like: there was a side door near my room that was supposed to be locked, but the latch didn’t work. The toilet failed intermittently, though it sometimes worked – enough for me to get down what I needed to get down with repeated flushing. The mattress was quite uncomfortable. There were no USB outlets. The receptionist could be reached by phone, but she was not at the desk most of the time. The continental breakfast lacked gluten-free alternatives and protein."

"This was surprisingly a unique and city hall. The rooms are all different. We stayed in the Lumber room which was awesome . It had a bedroom and separate livingroom with dining table, sofa, refrigerator and sink kitchen area. Decor is awesome throughout the place."

"We had an amazing stay over the Fourth of July weekend! The property was spotless when we arrived, one of the cleanest vacation rentals we've stayed in. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably, both inside and outside, so we never felt cramped.The location was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by a beautiful, serene setting. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and escape the hustle and bustle. The entire property had such a laid-back, welcoming vibe that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the weekend.If you're looking for a clean, spacious, and tranquil getaway with a great atmosphere, this is it. We'd absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!"

"The young couple was very accommodating and friendly. They made sure we had what we needed for the night..it's a 200 year old building and a lot of history there. The only problems we had was bar/band noise that kept us up most of the night and I had an early triathlon to do and no breakfast provided. We went to McDonald's as soon as it was open.. I have to give them young couple kudos for trying to preserve history and renovate the hotel. A few minor inconveniences for us but we had a nice time visiting Lock Haven."
