"Great hotel in terms of style and amenities. Stayed here with our family. However my young son cut his foot badly in the pool on a sharp metal edge and there was no one who could do first aid or had the right medical kit to help, despite trying to be helpful and sympathetic. No one took details and the manager never contacted us to check he was ok which was disappointing. We returned and asked if the manager was around but were told he was off for the weekend."

"Room was clean and spacious. Everything in the room worked very well. Quiet hotel and lovly breakfast. Only draw back was having to wait over 35 minute to check in past our check in time. After a long drive with kids you just want to get in and relax. Most members of staff very helpful. When we first arrived the 2 who were checking in were next to useless"

"A fantastic hotel, with a small private and secure car park (pre book essential by emailing the hotel directly) within walking distance of all Ghent sights, just 15minute stroll to the centre My teenagers loved the space, friendly relaxed feel and lovely breakfast (lots of choice). The staff were so helpful and the hotel was spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend."

"We had a quick one night stuff over in Ghent on our way to Germany so this was a perfect place to stay and Central for a quick explore of the city. I was disappointed when I arrived to find that the road that the hotel is on was not accessible by Car due to major roadworks going on. It would have been very helpful for the hotel to have contacted us to inform us of this as it then meant that we parked in a car park about five minute walk away. The hotel staff did not seem to be well informed or particularly attentive of our need for parking, thankfully we managed to find parking ourselves."
