"We had a lovely week. The waterfall behind the house was a short and pleasant walk away. The beach was a 2 minute walk and very quiet. It was lovely. This is a great house for a family getaway. "

But also the location was great: a beautiful view over Loch Broom and a 20 minutes drive to Ullapooland there are natural surroumdings all over. "Nice house looking out onto beautiful little beach. A lot of sheep which meant little lambs everywhere this time of year. Friendly neighbours! Tip: go to Handa (approx. 45 min. drive) for a very special hike on this remote bird island."

"Lovely location as a base to explore the North West coast of the Highlands. Spacious house, good wood burner, good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen with all you'd expect. My only complaint would be a lack of some sundries, such as there were only a few toilet rolls between us 7 adults and 2 children - 2 out of the 3 bathrooms we used ran out of toilet paper. "We had a wonderful stay at Drumbeg Hotel. The owners are so nice and welcomed us when we arrived. We had a home cooked Scottish meal for dinner which was some of the best foods we've had anywhere in Scotland. Breakfast was also delicious with lots of options. The hotel has a great lounge and bar. We all slept very well in the comfortable beds. It was a charming and peaceful area. The road there is winding and narrow but it's part of the adventure and makes the stay feel even more memorable, as if you are going to a place frozen in time. We loved it and would stay again in a heartbeat."
