Very nice high spec hotel. Rooms have everything you could need. Hotel has a drying room which is handy on a wet day. Great view of the bay. Staff very nice and helpful.
Negatives: very limited food menu, nothing for vegans. Seems very overpriced compared to similar hotels in the highlands.
Beautiful Hotel in lovely location, but details inaccurate as reception was not open until 10.30pm. At 8.00pm we found not all lights were worjking in the bathroom and there was no one at reception, ended up speaking to some one in the restaurant who offered to come and change the bulbs.
The menu in the restaurant was very poor for this standard of hotel, only one fish dish (Cod) and it was potatoes with cod.!
The Continental breakfast was also poor for the price, toast burnt and the fruit compot looked as if it had come from Tesco, although it was in a glass pot.
We had a two night stay at the inver lodge and had dinner there on the first night. Check in was quick and easy and the receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lounge area was large enough for people relaxing to spread out. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. This was the only time during our ten day trip that we had starter, main and dessert for dinner, which was really good.
We had a room with an amazing view straight on to Loch Inver. All the staff were very nice and friendly and a lovely breakfast. The premises were very clean and tidy as were the rooms and bathroom. My only adverse comment would be that the building is quite austere and lacks atmosphere and would probably benefit from a piano being played quietly in the background. It definitely needs something to lift it's spirit.
A perfect stop off place hidden away and off the beaten track. This welcoming hotel was just what we needed. Amazing views of the harbour, perfect walks and beautiful nearby hidden beaches. We loved our stay here. The staff were friendly, accommodating and recommended areas of interest. The beautiful sunset was a bonus
Nice facilities, good food and great service in the restaurant from Laura.
A bit short of staff, with a somewhat limited menu and not all hotel facilities re-opened after Covid.

A friendly hotel in a great location. But Overpriced for what it is. Food was good. Room was a little tired I had to use one of our bags to stop the door rattling.
This hotel may not look impressive from the outside but the interior more than makes up for it. The view from the rooms and restaurant is stunning. A recommended stop on the NC500 with a very warm welcome and great food.

Ok
This is advertised as 5 star, I’m not sure how it got that rating!
It’s not a very attractive building and the inside is much better than outside. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly.
The food was ok, not amazing but no complaints either.
However, the pillows smelt of old pillow and were rather off putting. Although the bed linen was clean.
It certainly wasn’t a 5 star rating in my opinion but the staff did try very hard

No garden furniture to sit outside.
No gym or relaxing facilities.
No background music, disappointing for money.
This hotel occupies agreat elevated position above Lochinver, with fabulous views.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay thanks to the staff, who were all wonderful.
Like many hotels there are challenges at the moment in finding appropriate staffing numbers and getting supplies delivered, to make this a truly great experience.
I am sure that Inver Lodge will recover and I wish them all the best for the future.
Lady at reception very profesional and pleasant 5 stars but when it came to mealtime there was a empty table for 2 people all night with a most spectactular view we asked if we could have that table and were told by a young lady no we have a seating plan and you must sit at the back of the room next to kitchen doors. This would of been absolutely fine if the table was being occupied but that was not the case.I was so upset I decided not even to go for my breakfast which I had paid for the next morning .What a away to spend Wedding Anniversary.
A lovely comfortable hotel in a great position for visiting this part of Scotland. The only problem was the very inefficient service in the dining room. Food excellent but there seemed to be no one organising the whole operation. Very pleasant staff, just not well trained. A 40 minutes wait before anyone came to take an order for breakfast is unacceptable.
Very pleasant and excellent food. Nice and quiet with lovely views. Long walk from car park to room with luggage

Spectacular views from every window
Room was gorgeous, linens and towels,
Dining was fabulous !
What I did not like was that my rate from travelocity was 70 GBP more than the rate being offered by the hotel.
I will be following up as that is too large a delta!!
