"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Brambles. The staff were attentive and we loved the cafe. The street parking was very easy. We knew beforehand there would be no lift, and it was really not an issue for us. We would definitely stay again. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Ben Cruachan Inn. Our room was large, comfortable and modern. Friendly and very helpful staff, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. We loved hanging out at the bar / lounge area which was cozy and fun. Plenty of parking. Good room amenities (minus refrigerator). Lovely area within walking distance to Lock Awe and St Conan's Kirk, and a short drive to Kilchurn Castle. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would plan to stay here again in...

"A very well set up room for us, for a last minute pick in Oban. Though not large, everything we needed was there, working, and comfy and quiet. We recc the Oban Inn, along the far edge of town near the waterfront, for great food and atmosphere. And the live caeli (sp?) music was really good. "

"We enjoyed how warm the room stayed, considering it was chilly and windy outside. The room also had a sink in it which was very convenient. The staff was short and rude with us and unaccommodating, which is our only complaint of the facility. It is a very bare bones place so if you are simply looking for a place to rest your head at the end of the day, this is a good choice."

"Handy for Rothsey, and a lovely old building. My room was facing the harbour and an interesting view. Tired in places, chair was very wobbly, and doors etc as you would expect in a property of this age. However, the retro-fitted en-suite was good, and nice and clean. Felt like carpet had not been hovered. The Scottish breakfast was nice and not too overwhelming. Just right. The guys running the place were really friendly and polite."

"Such a disappointment, the room was small and old fashioned. Very little space for two people, and damp in the atmosphere. Towels never dried and had to shower and air dry as gettibg dried with a cold damp towel was no fun. Check in security was pior, anyon can just walk in and pick up keys to a room , no staff around and when you rang the numbers for contact there was no answer from all three!"
