"Best family holiday for years. Nice touches here and there. If you arrived with nothing in the middle of the night you’d cope what with the spare/extra food and household essentials. "This a good wee cottage on South Uist, completely free of hustle and bustle and street lights. All amenities apart from shops were closed due to you know what! The view from the lounge is as good as you'll get, looking over to Barra. South UIst has big skies and big seas and a great viewpoint is a parking space just before you go down to the ferry for Barra on Eriskay. We saw Golden Eagles at that spot.
