"The food at the restaurant was really tasty and fresh, the water villa was excellent . We enjoyed the music around the pool and if you wanted a song playing by the dj at noght she was more than happy to play son suggestions. Equally you find a beach with no one on.. if you wanted a quite place. Same for music at night plenty of space outside not as loud as inside, or water villa terrace for total bliss. I would recomend and return. Spa treatment and meal at copper pot recommend them both"

"Stunning island small and personal, we stayed in beach villa and it was modern immaculate with outdoor bathroom restaurant was lovely with great food choice Amazing reef to snorkel Drinks and food expensive when not all inclusive however all inclusive does not cover all alcoholic drinks Beautiful island would love to return. "Varu was exactly in its name, an Atmosphere experience! From the drum ceremony arrival to the birthday dinner on the dock gazebo to the food and the service. Impeccable! I celebrated my birthday at Varu and absolutely loved the experience. Abby, Zune and the entire crew were phenomenal. I made new friendships here. My only suggestions are more entertainment during the evenings. It's a little bit dead after 9pm during the weekdays. But we would absolutely recommend. Charcoal is worth every moment! Food might be the best we've ever had. Try the lamb skewers, Wagyu and Pork Belly. Phenomenal! My water villa was what dreams are made of! Will definitely be back. "

"I don't understand the people who give less than 4-star reviews to this holiday destination. They must be nitpickers who expect to have the conditions from One and Only Reethi Rah (the neighbouring island) at the prices from the Summer Island. Come on, you could stay there only one hour with the money you paid for two weeks at the Summer Island. All is more than reasonable at the Summer Island, I mean the location, the meals, the staff, snorkelling and diving opportunities. "

"For Male standards this is a good hotel. The restaurant on the top floor, is good. The staff are extremely helpful. The hotel is opposite a Mosque, therefore expect and early wake up, but every hotel is in close proximity to a Mosque. Personally, Male is not a very nice place to spend time. "
