North Wales LDP This section of the path heads for the coast on the flank of the Dulas valley, along a beautifully engineered path which gave access to the quarried outcrop of Craig y Forwyn. If it was a tramway at some stage I do not know, but as it passes through the woodland lower down it is formed into significant rock cuttings.
Mynydd Marian trig point Sitting in a little fenced enclosure atop the local nature reserve. The elevation is 208m, testifying to the very steep coastal hills.
Limestone cliffs Cliffs all along the southern margin of the hills are the result of historical quarrying. Not natural, but very rugged!
