Everything was top-notch, from the warm and welcoming staff to the delicious dinner and fantastic breakfast. After three weeks of travelling, this was the first place where I managed to sleep for eight uninterrupted hours! That alone says so much about how peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing this place is. What made my stay truly special was that I didn't feel like I was staying in a hotel — **I genuinely felt at home.** Thank you to the amazing team for such a memorable experience. I would happily return and highly recommend Ty Afon River House to anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and genuine hospitality!"

"We had a much-needed family break away, especially for my wife, who recently lost her mum and needed some time to reflect, recharge and begin to heal from such a significant loss. We have loved every minute of our stay at Derwen Fach, hosted by Gareth and Llinos. The property is absolutely beautiful and blends perfectly into the surrounding countryside, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Beddgelert is an amazing place, so peaceful, with beautiful walks right on the doorstep. It is also an excellent base for hiking Snowdon, with the walking routes less than 25 minutes away.We cannot thank Gareth and Llinos enough for their warm hospitality and for helping make our stay so special. It was exactly the break our family needed, and we are already looking forward to returning soon!"

"We had a great stay in this lovely characterful cottage, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could need. Sally’s communication was excellent and detailed. The only comment we would have was that the double bed was rather too firm. The location was perfect for our purpose, which was to join a charity walk up Snowdon via the Rhydd Ddu path, only a couple of minutes walk away. We were only a short drive from so many other lovely popular Welsh towns and The Cwellyn Arms, just across the road, serves great food if you don’t feel like cooking after a full day. Be prepared to bring basic provisions, as the nearest shop is a short drive away. We would definitely return to this cottage."
