"I had a deeply disappointing experience. Due to a simple date error (I intended July 24-28, but mistakenly selected April 24-28), I reached out immediately to Expedia and the hotel on the same day. I wasn’t asking for a refund, just to adjust the booking to the correct dates, and I was willing to pay any difference. The hotel told me it had to go through Expedia, and Expedia told me that the hotel refused any changes due to their policy, even though I contacted them before the mistake dates even ended. In the end, neither side showed any flexibility, and I lost $1,170 for a simple date change request. This lack of consideration is unacceptable, and I cannot recommend this experience to anyone."
