Perfect autumnal reflections in this 15 shot pano taken during a photography trip to the Lake District. We couldn't have picked a better day as the reflections made this place truly awesome. The reflections had actually disappeared as we crossed the bridge but as if by magic the ripples disappeared and the perfect reflection returned. #reflections

The lodge was bigger than expected and we loved the quiet countryside location There is a steep driveway up to the top of the hill it was worth it for the views. We explored the local area around Llangollen, Shrewsbury and had a day out to Chester which was about 50 minutes drive away. There are also plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby which saved cooking! "The owners are very lovely and welcoming and explained everything about the lodge and the area around. The lodge was very nice and clean and tidy with everything you needed and a little more with the hot tub and sauna. The views were amazing and even better when relaxing in the hot tub. "The lodges are very well designed and attractive with good amenities, however it could do with a lot of TLC, the walls were all marked/scuffed, everywhere needed a good paint job. Wasn’t the cleanest of properties with debris on the floor downstairs which I hoovered up. Bedrooms neat and tidy with fresh bedding and towels. Jacuzzi was lovely and well maintained. Just a little more time spent on cleaning and maintenance and it would have been percect"
