"Stay was lovely and staff were helpful. The routes to get to the rooms are not pram friendly and didnt have a cot suitable for a 2 month old. We suggest asking member of staff to help carry a dismantled pram to the room to help off load the stress of getting into the room with a baby. But once in the room all of the key amenities worked well."

"Another enjoyable stay at Darwin. The room was spotless and had a comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. There’s a honesty bar where you can help yourself to drinks and snacks and pay on departure. The hotel is very close to the town centre where there are lots of eating places to choose from. We parked on the St Julien’s Friars carpark which is reasonable priced and just round the corner from the hotel. Would definitely recommend here."

"Staff was real freindly, the taphouse and room was beautiful, very old school feel to it and its Historic value, spent 6 hours in the room, made use of the 100+ available channels on the TV, wifi secure and fast, room temperature was excellent. Would reccomend and will be visiting again next year. Thank you."

"Excellent location in the middle of town. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Superb breakfasts and service. Restaurant not open Sunday or Monday evening but several places to eat close by. Room overlooked street but quieter than expected. Squeaky floorboards as expected. Issue with bathroom extractor fan not resolved."
