"We only had a very short stay but found the property to be a beautiful old farmhouse with fantastic old features, lovely open fire with plenty of logs and character. Old worn stairs, exposed wooden beams and not a right angle in the place ! Nice and quiet and well out the way. Doggy was very welcome as well."

"This was a real gem of a find. Centrally located with its own secure parking space. The property is well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. It has its own small terrace too - ideal for drinking coffee or a glass of wine. The hosts are welcoming and provide great information about the area and what to do. "The photographs of the property do not do this house and gardens justice. There were 14 of us staying and it’s the best house we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and entertain, with an Aga and separate oven. Seating in the house is plentiful and the grounds are stunning. We could easily walk for dinner into Bala as well as stroll down to the lake. The children had a swim in the leisure centre as the lake is a tad cold in May! It’s worth every penny to stay here....

"An absolute beautiful property perfect for a family get together. The property is very well presented and cleanliness is second to none. Its a very well equipped property with everthing you could ever need. The games room was superb and all the family enjoyed. The carpet showed no signs of drying out so the possible cause was a drainage leak from the adjacent shower room. The communal rubbish bins, located in the car park directly below the flats were overflowing with bagged and unbagged household rubbish dumped in many areas.
