"We stayed here for one night after attending a wedding near by. We arrived at 10 pm in heavy rain and were warmly welcomed at the door by the owner who quickly checked us in and showed us to our room. Next morning we woke to sunshine and wonderful views to the surrounding hills. Breakfast was very good and service was excellent. Fellow EV drivers may be interested to know that free charging is offered to guests upon request - according to the hotel directory in our room. We didn’t register seeing this on the hotel web page. The building has many historic features and has the normal quirks of an old building such as slightly sloping floors in places. We would certainly be happy to return here and stay longer as there is plenty to see and do in the wider region."

"Room was very well maintained to a high standerd. room was small but this was ok as only ever used for a single guest. Breakfast cooked to order and was a generous portion. A good selection of evening meals cooked well and a reasonable price. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall would recommend and will hopefully stay again at some time. "
