"This cottage is this perfect place for a quick little getaway! We had the most perfect lazy stay for the weekend secluded from the city. Just sitting outside the cottage watching the lake in silence was so peaceful. The host was also extremely responsive and detailed in her messages. Would highly recommend."

"While planning a fly fishing trip on the Beaverkill river, we came across this rental property and it fit the bill perfectly for us. Although the weather didn't cooperate as far as the fishing goes (temps were in the mid to upper 80's), the house remained comfortable inside for sleeping at night. House was as advertised and we enjoyed sitting around the fire down by the river. We saw deer, a bald eagle and various other wildlife. The road into the place was not in great shape but we had a pickup...

"The house was fantastic. Close to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort and a cute one street town. Peter and Lara had both wood burning stoves going for us when we arrived. The house is wonderful with a fun separate hang out place for the kids. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Hot tub with wonderful views. All the firewood you could ever need. We will be back for sure!"

"Location of property was great. Home was very clean, kitchen well stocked, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds and nice towels. Great for 2-4 people. Didn’t have a lot of luck with places to eat; however, we were there on a Sunday to Wednesday so some restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Extra pluses were a welcoming bottle of wine and a bag of local coffee. Small negatives were the on/ off of the heater is very loud and occasionally there is an unpleasant odor in the home??"

"Amazing communication with Sarah and the property was clean. We only stayed one night for a wedding, but would have loved to stay longer to try the farm fresh eggs that Sarah generously left for us. Great place to stay in an area with limited accommodation options."

"Gary was a wonderful host who welcomed us to this cabin, right on the Lake, with a pizza and good old fashioned hospitality. We were tired from our travels and had a huge load of washing to do and Gary was very accommodating and helpful in allowing us to use nearby facilities. The cabin is rustic and enjoyable to be in. Great reclining couch chairs. Gary had set a fire for us too, such a great guy. The juke box was fun to play and listen to some fantastic music and we also visited the nearby...

"The cabin was in a beautiful location and with a clean and lovely interior. The induction stovetop ended up breaking as we were attempting to cook, but the host generously gave us a discount to subsidize us going out for dinner instead of cooking the food we had brought. Overall it was an excellent stay — I do think it would be helpful if the host had instructions listed in the cabin regarding how to use the appliances (stove, grill, fireplace, etc.). It would also be great if they provided more...
