"Nice overnight stay with my partner. Room spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. A little soft for my liking but I did sleep well. Was very thankful for the fan and I’m used to sleeping with one at home. Delicious food…the steak and ale pie was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast before the long drive home. Would definitely recommend the Captain cook Inn and we would be more than happy to stay again. "

"Nice enough hotel, a little tiredaround the edges. The main problem for me was the wifi was not brilliant, i could not attach large files on emails and watchinf a film was lagging all the time."

"Amazing stay..staff lovely and good breakfast.. the location was central to everywhere and views were fantastic. The pub gets very busy showing its popularity. The room was great very spacious with everything one needs. The bed was a little weird and felt uneven but didn't stop us sleeping after busy days exploring the area. If theres any criticism its having no plugs near the bed to plug phones or fan in but i would definitely stay here if visiting the area again..thank you to the staff for...

No parking except 15 min walk up hill with pita parking meters that don’t work beyond 12 hrs and won’t take us cards or numbers. Would not recommend for elderly. There are a few paths down to town - check sign by blue lobster. "
