The cabin was amazing with beautiful views! We had an amazing time there, and were easily able to fit the whole family. We watched a movie on the big screen in the basement, played pool and enjoyed the view off the deck. A deer was in the yard every day which was fun to watch. The only down side was a long bumpy dirt road to get to the cabin, but that is to be expected for a good view.
Exactly what we needed! Beautiful views, clean property exactly as described. Long weekend away for family time: hikes, stargazing, board games, pool, movies, and cozy places to read. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Thanks!
Loved the property! I wish we could’ve stayed longer. The view was amazing! I posted pictures of the view on social media and many people thought it was fake! Haha! Colorado’s scenery is unmatched. Beautiful! I would definitely stay again!
Two friends and I stayed at Glacier View Meadows for two nights for a weekend retreat. We had a lovely experience in the house. The views were incredible and the location was quiet and peaceful. The house offered plenty of comfortable spaces to connect and spread out. Kayla was responsive when we had a question.
This was a great place to stay for a getaway weekend away from the hustle and bustle of a city. We loved sitting on the deck under the lights and in front of the gas fireplace. We enjoyed playing a game of pool in the basement, and playing games on the main floor. The couches were actually very comfortable, which is unusual in so many VRBO options it seems. We would enjoy this place again if we were looking for a retreat from all the busy busy busy moments.
Located in dense forest secluded from other homes in the area, this home is very well appointed and a delight to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the various decks and their uses. Our grandson enjoyed hiking through the forest and climbing the rocks. The house is very roomy. It was a quiet, restful experience.
We did wish that wash cloths had been provided and also did not care for the memory foam mattresses as we all have back problems. Finally, the fire pit did not work and the propane appeared to be low.
My family was so impressed with this fabulous rental--from the breathtaking view to the luxurious and spacious home itself. Our family of four had more than enough room to spread out, relax, and enjoy each other's company. We appreciated all the kitchen appliances and cookware as well as the well-stocked game closet. We absolutely loved spending evenings in the basement with a game of pool or a movie. We got snowed in one day and did not mind at all! Our only--very minor, very understandable--complaint is that water pressure in the home was next to nothing, which made baths for the kids challenging and rendered the washing machine completely useless. We understand that given the remote mountain location, this is is to be expected, and we certainly made do. On the plus side, the water heater worked perfectly! I highly recommend this house for families, especially those interested in spending more time at their vacation house than out and about.

Pros: If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city, then this is the perfect property for you. This home is exquisitely located in a peaceful valley of Livermore, where it's quiet and within the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Amazing mountain views from every window/doorway. The house is cozy and comfy. The decor is welcoming and tastefully designed. I had a group of 6 adults (myself included) here over the weekend to celebrate my birthday month, and we were able to enjoy every parts of this house except the outdoors due to weather. The kitchen table was the perfect size for our card games and Jenga. The basement has the huge sofa for our movie night, while the guys played a fun game of pool. Kayla & Max were easy to reach by email with fast responses and were the perfect hosts.
Cons: When we arrived the kitchen countertops were dusty. It was windy that week, so I'm guessing small particles of dirt made it's way into the house. There were also a few cobwebs hanging from the kitchen light fixtures and the bath towels did not smell recently washed. The living room sofa had old crumbs between the cushions and the memory foam mattress in all of the bedrooms were slightly on the firm side. I gave 4 stars for the cleanliness but overall the home is perfect.
We all had a blast this weekend in March 2024, and we absolutely will return in the near future. Thank you Kayla and Max for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!
I let the owner know the master shower was stopping up every time you used it and released sewage, smell in the entire house. She thanked me for letting her know, but it wasn’t addressed repaired until after I left. This resulted in being unable to use the shower on the first floor. This was a real inconvenience. I know several people have remarked about the bedding, but there are foam toppers on both of the beds upstairs that slide when you tried to climb in the bed. They make you sink in really deep into the bed. This put the height of the bed beyond what I was able to get into and had to be helped into the bed. if I needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, I had to have someone help me back in bed. A stepstool would’ve been great. I am 5 foot three. Everyone in the party complained about how uncomfortable the beds were to the point where they actually slept on the couches and recliners It had been brought to the owners attention couple of times before and said it was a personal preference, but everyone in my party found the upstairs all the beds extremely uncomfortable. The carpet was worn and soiled. The paint on the decks peeling. I will say that the view was spectacular and the house was otherwise nice. I am a Vrbo Owner myself and I believe in giving honest reviews. That’s the only way you can make corrections. But the mattresses should’ve been addressed three complaints ago.
Loved it was a beautiful location. Water pressure was a little unexpected when you have the trying to shower but other then that it was great. Will rent again
This house is lovely and huge! It is located in a secluded community far off the road with wonderful views and plenty of balconies to see them from. The kitchen was wonderful--well equipped and clean. We loved the pool table and the fire pit. Really great house and amazing value!
The house was incredible, as was the surrounding area. It had everything we hoped for and more. We would definitely recommend this to anyone. Thank you for making our wonderful stay possible.
We stayed here to celebrate a graduation in Fort Collins. It was an easy drive back and forth, and we loved coming back to the beautiful views and quiet. There was plenty of room for 4 adults and a child and that was without much use of the basement level. We were not fans of the memory foam on the beds, but that is more a personal preference. The hosts were responsive and seemed very invested in guests having a great stay. Overall, it was a terrific stay.
My wife and I drove through the Red Feathers Lake area in October of 2021. It was gorgeous. I knew that I wanted to try to stay around there on our next trip to Colorado. We returned recently and spent the first part of our trip at Max and Kayla's beautiful home. The accommodations were perfect, the house spacious and comfortable and included everything one would need for a fantastic stay. The view from their deck is jaw-droppingly beautiful, but the one thing I will never forget is the absolute quiet; no cars, no barking dogs, no sirens, no voices of other people, just the movement of the air above the land and mountains. I would certainly return.
