"We really enjoyed our stay. Love the layout & style. Home is very comfortable & we had everything we needed. Inside of home was very clean. Sheets & towels had a clean & fresh smell. Very nice! Air conditioning worked great! We enjoyed the porches & yard.We had a couple of house issues at the beginning but the host immediately called someone to take care of them. All resolved within a day of reporting. Well done. Morgan was very responsive & helpful! The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 on cleanliness is because the outside of the home, (windows, porches, porch furniture) all needed cleaning. We are looking forward to staying again in the future. "

"This property was beyond excellent. My husband and I brought 3 grandkids with us. We used the kayaks and the paddle boards that were provided. The kids swam and fished daily. They caught quite a few fish from the dock. We cooked meals and had dinner on the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed. This was our second time renting this property and we will definitely be renting it again. It’s pet friendly also and our dog had a great time too!"

"We go to Lake Gaston every year for a relaxing getaway. This house was perfect for our family. Plenty of beds and my daughters never been in a kayak but got to experience it this time as the house came with a couple of them for guests to use. Clean and spacious. "The rental home was beautiful and very spacious. Had everything you would need for a wonderful vacation. Well equipped with attention to detail. We were there for just a few days for a wedding but would love to come back and enjoy the lake and pools and amenities they have to offer around the area. "

"This was the Richards Family 2025 Memorial Day Getaway! 6 generations with ages ranging from 1 to 81. The pictures did this property NO justice. It was absolutely beautiful. So many things to do for all age groups right on the property! The Richards Family will be booking this property again in 2026!"

"We rent A LOT—skiing, kayaking, you name it. This may be the most well-appointed rental in which we’ve stayed, at least in the US. Everything was in terrific shape (either brand new or super clean—from the blender to the linens). The amenities didn’t feel cheap — even the toilet paper and paper towels were of good quality. The kitchen was stocked with high quality appliances and nice cookware. Plenty of supplies meant that we didn’t have to run to the store for anything other than food. Decor was not tacky—a plus. The beds were comfortable and it felt that the owners put a lot of thought into the small details (for example, the kitchen cabinets were labeled). Kayaks and paddle board were in terrific shape with plenty of life vests for any size. The game room was fun. The neighborhood is quiet and clean—terrific access to the water. Couldn’t ask for more.
