"My husband and I and our dog had a great time at this Lake Gaston house. The location of the property is great-close to the Food Lion, several restaurants, Ace Hardware, and Jenny Cakes bakery. It is also in a cove which is very calm and not a lot of boat/jet ski traffic. Nice shade in the back yard. The dock and chairs were nice to have so you can sit outside at night and enjoy the peace. The house was very clean and had plenty of space for us. The host does a great job of communicating so check in and out is seamless. The only thing I saw that might be helpful to update is the carpeting as it was stained in several places. A book/binder about the house and area would be a nice addition. I would recommend this property and hope to return in the future."

"Enjoyed home - kayak, hot tub, pool nearby, fishing off dock, relaxing on porch,corn hole, pool table, owner very responsive, and comfortable beds. Dog friendly, patio with gates and shaded. Definitely met needs of large family gathering. Will come again with boating license."

"This property had absolutely everything. We had 11 adults and 12 children. We aged in range from 2 months to 70. The space for cooking, sleeping, relaxing and playing was wonderful. Don't bring beach towels, pool toys, lawn toys or any indoor games because this house has it all. Plenty of life vests for boating unless you have small ones that you prefer in a fitted size to them. Everything in the kitchen you can imagine.We never left the property except for one golf outing for some of the guys.We spent our days in the pool, lake, boating on the pontoon boat, kayaks and paddle board. Lots of patio and porch space. We even got to see a bald eagle while enjoying our morning coffee on the porch.The owners/property managers were extremely quick at responding when we had a question.Check in and check out were very easy.The entire family didn't want to leave and the kids are begging to go back!"

"The house had everything you could want. We never left except to take the boat to dinner one night. We spent all day in the pool or lake. 3 generations, 3 kids under 7 who all want to live at MacDaddy. We hired a chef for 4 days and rented baby equipment making it a very relaxing week. MacDaddy definitely deserves its title as Top Dog !!"

"The water access to the main lake was great. Nice dock area to tiie your boat up and plenty of room to move your boat around. Very nice place for a last minute get away trip with fury friends. Water is very clean around the dick."
