FAMILY & PET FRIENDLY - FISHERMAN'S HAVEN BY THE RIVER EDGE

3 bedrooms, 1 cabin – 4th bedroom detached from main house.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 provide king-size beds.
Bedroom 3 provides a single bed.
The cabin contains a queen-sized bed plus an ensuite.
Unlimited WiFi
All linen & towels are provided.
Tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, oil, tin foil, glad wrap, and paper towel in the pantry. Coffee Plunger
Well-equipped galley-style kitchen.
Lounge, and dining combined.
The bathroom is fitted with a full bath, separate shower and toilet. Ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom.
Third toilet adjacent from laundry with washing machine, dryer plus clothesline provided.
Full reverse cycle air conditioning in the lounge room.
A protected verandah shaded by two Avocado trees and a Macadamia tree overlooking the gardens and river.
Outdoor patio with outdoor setting and BBQ.
Fully enclosed large backyard for the dogs when you take a trip into KNP or town.
Campfire pit by the river for your enjoyment.

Dogs are most welcome inside the cottage but we do ask they do not go onto carpeted areas, and do not sleep on the furniture or bedding. We supply dog bowls, treats and Poop bags.

Want to learn FLY FISHING FOR TROUT? then spend a half day with Dave Ducker's fly fishing lessons and guiding. Learn about: rod set up. casting, Entomology, Flies (usage), stream craft and equipment required. Call David or Deb to organize.


Activities

In summer enjoy all watersports at Blowering Dam and fishing in the rivers and streams.

Go canoeing & Kayaking down the Tumut River. Go horse riding at Argalong try an introductory microlight flight or go Mountain bike riding in and around Tumut.

Enjoy some of the many bushwalking trails, visit Yarrangobilly Caves, Kosciuszko National Park plus take time to visit Adelong a heritage town famous for its goldmining past, Batlow for its apple, cherry and stonefruit orchards and Talbingo the birthplace of famous Australian author Miles Franklin.

In winter enjoy snowboarding, snowtubing and skiing at Mt. Selwyn ski resort just 50 minutes form the property.

For the Kids

Play a game of cricket or throw a frisby along the flood plain beneath the cottages. Take a tube ride down the river rapids or take a swim at our private sandy beach.

In winter feed the poddy lambs, and our pet steer, and if you're lucky watch a platypus swim in the rivers edge and a wombat take an evening stroll.




On Long Weekends a minimum of a 3 day stay.
Easter Break a minimum of a 4 day stay.
Christmas Holidays a minimum of a 5 day stay.
