"The location was great - close for walking into town. The room was very comfy, the charm of an old building but the comfort of modern updates. I enjoyed the large room, the cozy duvets and big windows. We had a lovely nightcap at the bar where we had great service from Greg, the bartender, who was very charming."

"The room was clean, the bedside light kept blowing but they worked hard to rectify it every time. I did get bitten a lot which has never happened to me before but the cause was a mystery because my husband did not get bitten at all. The roman blinds in the room let it down as did the net curtains which were hung the wrong way on the windows so the strings were an eyesore. The coffee and tea making facilities were excellent. The bathroom needed more shelving. The location was amazing and an excellent place to use as a base for sight seeing further afield. We spent 3 nights and 2 days there and could have stayed longer. They employ some amazing staff. Enormous credit to them ."
